Get A Do Over!
When Your Credit Card Goes Sour
By now, either you or someone you know probably has a horror story to tell about unexpected rate increases from their credit card issuer. Even customers with long, untarnished credit records are falling victim to unilateral increases, fees, and unfavorable changes to lending agreements. For the big companies its just business, and their business is about making as much money as possible.
At CCSEFCU, we look at you for what you are, a member. You’re one of a group of individuals united in a not-for-profit financial institution dedicated to serving the financial needs of its members. That distinction goes a long way in explaining why our credit card terms are much more user friendly than those at the big commercial banks, and why we still offer members credit at a reasonable rate of just 8.99% APR*. See if your current card can beat these terms:
•$5 nominal balance transfer fee
• Zero minimum finance charges
• No transaction fees on purchases
• Reasonable $15.00 late fees and $25 over-the-limit fees
If your current credit card provider is leaving you with a sour taste in your mouth, contact us about a credit Do Over. We always play fair, because we’re on your team.
Visit www.ccsefcu.org, call (410) 398-6921 or stop by our office.
*APR=Annual Percentage Rate. Your rate may vary base on individual credit profile.

The New Year is a good time for reflection and rededication. It is also a great time for us to say thank you for your continuing trust, referrals, and relationships. It goes without saying that the past 12 months have provided elements of excitement, challenges, anxiety, and temptation – and through it all, you, our valued clients, have maintained confidence and patience in our financial planning approach. Of course the greatest heartache and loss for us and many of you was that of our dear friend and colleague, John E. Asberry, CFP®. God Bless you John!
This past year we concentrated on planning, education, and innovation, all in an effort to improve the quality and depth of our relationship with you. If we’ve learned anything, it is that our clients benefit the most when our discussions center on financial planning issues – not simply investment advice.
So as we enter this new decade of the 21st century together, please know that we stand ready to work with you in your planning and look forward to our future together.
Wishing you a Prosperous New Year
